Arsenal legend Ian Wright has praised Manchester United's Kobbie Mainoo after his performance in the 2-2 draw against Tottenham.
MU took the lead twice against Tottenham in the match of round 21 of the 2023/24 Premier League, but in the end they only got a 2-2 draw at home. In this match Kobbie Mainoo played very well in the home team's midfield.

Kobbie Mainoo can become the key in MU's midfield. I see MU playing counter-attacking football at home, and when there is a midfielder who can hold the ball and bring the ball forward as well as Mainoo, their ball situations are much faster and more dangerous.
I see a lot of situations where Mainoo takes the ball and brings it forward. As he coordinates more smoothly with his teammates, his contributions will become even greater. That is one of MU's interesting discoveries."
Despite Mainoo's encouraging performance, the draw left MU with only 1 win in the last 6 matches and 8 points behind the Top 4.
