MU striker Joe Hugill scored just 3 minutes into his loan match at Burton Albion.
Joe Hugill was recruited by MU from Sunderland in 2020. This player is considered to have great potential, but does not have many opportunities to be used at the Red Devils. He sat on the bench in 4 matches for MU this season, including the victory against Wigan in the third round of the FA Cup.

Realizing that the 20-year-old player needs to play regularly to continue to grow, MU decided to let him join Burton Albion on loan from now until the end of the season. Hugill also just made his debut for the new team on an away trip to Derby, and he only needed 3 minutes to score his first goal for the team playing in League One.
Hugill was brought on from the bench and scored to equalize the score 2-2 for Burton. This goal immediately helped the 20-year-old player receive many compliments. One person wrote: "That was a very smart finish." Another person declared: "As long as he has the chance, he will score." One person added: “MU's future number 9. Excellent ending, fighting boy.”
Unfortunately for Hugill and Burton, home team Derby finally secured a dramatic victory in the 93rd minute thanks to Conor Hourihane to seal a 3-2 victory. This result puts Derby in 3rd place in League One, while poor Burton is still 19th and only 5 points above the drop zone.
